Description: The Red-footed Booby, also known as Rotfußtölpel (Sula sula), is a bird species native to the Midway Atoll in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Approximately 750 pairs of these elegant birds breed on the Eastern Island. Red-footed Boobies are skilled hunters, showcasing their blue beaks, bright red legs, and black wingtips. They hunt for fish and squids by plunging into the sea from great heights. Their striking appearance and agile movements make them captivating subjects for nature photographers.
