Description: The Red-footed Booby (Sula sula) is a fascinating seabird native to the Midway Atoll. Approximately 750 pairs of these birds breed on Eastern Island. They are skilled hunters that travel great distances over the sea in search of fish, diving from great heights to catch their prey. With their striking features such as black wingtips, blue bills, and bright red legs, they are truly a sight to behold.
