Description: The Red-footed Booby, also known as Rotfußtoelpel, is a remarkable seabird species native to the Midway Atoll. With approximately 750 breeding pairs on Eastern Island, it is a fascinating bird known for its fishing expeditions. These birds soar far out into the sea and plunge from great heights to catch their prey. With their striking features such as the bright red legs, blue bill, and black wingtips, they are truly majestic creatures.
