Description: The Red-footed Booby (Sula sula) is a seabird native to the Midway Atoll in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Approximately 750 pairs of these beautiful birds breed on Eastern Island. Red-footed Boobies are excellent hunters, flying long distances over the sea in search of fish and diving from great heights to catch their prey. With their brightly colored red feet, blue bill, and black wingtips, they are a captivating sight.
